At Drumsoft, our goal is simple: We love Rock Band and want to make it as much fun as possible!

We started out as a group of drummers who bought a great video game and saw a way to improve the drum set that came with it. It didn’t take long to figure out that the drum heads had a serious flaw, the clacking noise the sticks made on the heads and plastic rim. The members of our team are no strangers to finding solutions, so the challenge was on. We soon became consumed with our quest to find the perfect drum pad. After two months of intensive testing and research we discovered that there is no one perfect material from which to make a drum pad. We found that many stores were selling drum pads online, and they ALL claimed that theirs are the best pads.

Some were foam, some were gum rubber and others were neoprene. We tested these materials and many more. Every time we thought we had the perfect product, we would find that while this pad worked great, one of our drummers wanted more rebound and another wanted more sound dampening, and so on.

The answer was obvious. There is no one pad that is best for all sets and all drummers. But we did absolutely find out what different pads work best in different situations. And so we decided to share the results of our research with the drumming public, and Drumsoft was born!

Our business philosophy: We won’t try to tell anyone what is best for them. We will do the tests, tell the customers what we found out about each type of drum pad and let them decide for themselves what the best material is. It's the only way to guarantee you're getting the best product on the market. We aren't pushing any type over another, because we sell them all. We are still testing and learning --- and we are committed to giving the very best customer service we can. The bottom line: If we have made your Rock Band experience more fun, we’re all winners!
