Is the price you list for one pad or a set of four?

All of our drum pads are sold as a complete set to protect your entire drum set. The single pads are sold as sets of four and the double pads are sets of eight.

What makes Drumsoft different from the other Drum Pad protectors on the Web?

Drumsoft is the only site that offers all different types of the highest quality materials at the lowest prices. We are also the only provider of the Pimp Your Pads line of vinyls to decorate your drums.

How thick are the Drumsoft pads?

Depending on the style you choose, the pads range from 3/32 " thick to a combined thickness on some of our dual and composite pads of 1/4".

How sensitive are the pads after the Drumsoft pads are installed?

That depends on what drum set you have and what type of pad you choose. This is very important. In order to get the best pad for your drums, you must determine what type of drum set you have. Click here to find out how you can tell.

Do you ship to Canada?

Yes we do. The cost of shipping to Canada is a flat rate of $9.99 per order.

How do you make your parts for the Drumsoft pads?

After acquiring the professional grade materials, we use a custom die to machine punch the circles. The punch press we use insures that the Drumsoft pads are all cut perfectly and prevents messy cut marks. Our equipment is top of the line and all of our assembly adheres to the strict quality control standards.

How can you be sure that this is the best solution?

There is no one drum pad that is best for everyone. We can be sure that Drumsoft is the best because we offer all of the possibilities and then help you determine which is best for you. No other site does this.

What type of payments do you accept?

Payments to Drumsoft are handled through our Paypal account from which we accept all major credit cards. All transactions are secure and offer complete privacy protection. The safety of our customers is of the utmost importance to Drumsoft.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is currently a flat rate of $6.99 anywhere in the USA. and $9.99 in Mexico or Canada. Other international shipping costs $12.99.

How long will it take for me to get my order?

There is a 5-7 business day processing period. For a limited time we are upgrading all shipments to Priority Shipping (2-3 days in the USA, approx. 1-2 weeks for International).

Can I get the vinyls for any other material such as Gum Rubber or Neoprene?

Not at this time. The gum rubber and neoprene are made out of a material like a car tire. They have a natural oil to them that prevents any kind of vinyl from sticking to them. At this time the Microcellular Urethane is the only material that can have a design added to it. We are still looking for new types of stickers or decals that might work for other materials and we will offer them as soon as we can find them.

How can I Pimp My Pads?

Our vinyl graphics are all originals that have been created by our own graphic designer exclusively for our MCU pads. They are applied by a state-of-the-art heat press process that makes them look embossed! When you order graphics, they will be applied in house so when you receive your pads, they will be ready to use. (30 great designs now and more on the way!)

What kind of adhesive do you use?

We use an industrial grade peel and stick adhesive on our pads which has proven to be highly successful. The adhesive can be affected by several factors:

(1) The initial installation - Be sure the surface is clean and dry before application of the pad. Carefully follow the instructions included with your pads.

(2) Curing time - The adhesive bond will strengthen over several days; lightly press down on the surface of the pads occasionally to reinforce the bond.

CAN THE PADS BE REMOVED AND REINSTALLED?

If this is done carefully, there is a possibility that you will be able to remove and re-apply the pads once or twice before the adhesive is depleted (it has worked for us!) but because there are so many variables, we cannot guarantee this. If reapplication is necessary and you find that the adhesion is inadequate, we now offer replacement adhesive pads. See our products page for more information.

HOW LONG WILL MY DRUM PADS LAST?

Several factors can influence the life of your drum pads:

Are you playing once a week for an hour or so? Or are you a devoted six-hours-a-day rocker? Are you using our super tough gum rubber or neoprene pads, or is your major concern the sensitivity and appearance you get from our MCU products? For example, the foam pads are a great economy choice to protect your drums, but they will be less durable than our tougher pads.
